Long before I was a crazy chickens lady, I was a crazy craft lady. One of my favorite things to do is make signs and projects from reclaimed wood. I enjoy making a variety of holiday themed crafts, drinkware, and jewelry.

Natural products for home and body are also staple because what goes on your body is just as important and what goes in it!

Searching for the right animals for your homestead can be tough. Here at Green Acre Homestead, we specialize in raising animals that do well as small farm pets or a manageable option for homesteaders will limited space to start raising for meat production.

You do not have to be a 3rd generation farmer, have acres of land, or tons of money to homestead. There are so many ways to get the results you want right where you are! I love hosting others so that they can experience homesteading in a small space.

I’m extremely passionate about encouraging others to embrace the idea of raising meat for their family in a small space. You’ll find several processing classes as well as social and educational events planned throughout the year.

The Green Acre Farmstand is open seasonally May-October. Come visit early Spring and find all of the plants you need for a bountiful harvest all season long. As we transition to Summer and Fall, fresh eggs, vegetables, flowering plants, and succulents will be available weekly. This is also a great time to browse the latest homestead crafts and pick up a bar of homemade goat’s milk soap.
